My crazy compulsion

In connection with  the October 29, 2014 Weld article about Mark Lester ("The present-minded professor"), Mark Lester tweeted about a "crazy compulsion" that makes him want to represent the 6th Congressional district.

That made me think that I will have a crazy compulsion to keep after Gary Palmer after November 4th. See embedded tweets below.
Everyone in the 6th Congressional district should read the Weld article about Mark Lester. It makes a strong case about why the 6th Congressional district will be ill served by Gary Palmer.

I largely agree with that case, and I have been stating the case in my own way in this campaign website/blog.

An editorial in The New York Times called this The Disgust Election. See Is Gary Palmer whistling Dixie?.

My opinion is that there is disgust because there is perpetual political war in the United States, there is a broken Congress from that, and the American people are the losers from that.

My opinion is, regardless of Tuesday's results, the war for 2016 will begin in earnest on November 5th, there will continue to be a broken Congress, and the American people will continue to be losers.

While it does no good to ask Gary Palmer a question, let me pose it to Gary Palmer any way: "Do you think there has come about a condition of perpetual political war in the United States, is there a broken Congress from that, and are the American people the losers from that?"

Just as, in Dale Jackson's words, everyone knows that Congress is broke, so, I think, does everyone know the war for 2016 will start in earnest on November 5th.

The Weld article about Mark Lester gives a good explanation of why Gary Palmer can only be seen as a ready combatant for taking up the cudgels on the Republican side.in the war for 2016 that begins in earnest on November 5th.

If you are of a frame of mind which says "let the war for 2016 begin in earnest on November 5th," Gary Palmer is your man.

If your frame of mind is, "oh God, no, this has got to stop, this is killing the American people," you should need little convincing that Gary Palmer is going to ill serve you.
