Organizing focus groups

I consider it worthwhile to try to organize focus groups even though there are only 40 days until election day.

Subject: Judy Woodruff and Rob's Focus Group(s)
Dear Friends,
Last night on PBS, more than 50 Wisconsin voters joined PBS News special correspondent Judy Woodruff for a town hall event in Milwaukee, as part of her America at a Crossroads reporting project, which has been exploring political polarization across the country. You can view last night's event at Crossroads: A Conversation with America – A PBS News Special | PBS News.
Judy Woodruff has been an inspiration to me during the past two years and inspires me to invite you to participate in a Focus Group (or Groups) at your friend Rob's house. Scheduling right now is indefinite, and I am only wanting at this time indications of interest in participating.
Please respond if you are interested. Please be assured my feelings will not be hurt if you are not interested and do not respond.
Your friend,
Rob

Subject: Judy Woodruff's America at a Crossroads challenge to Alabama TV stations
Dear Alabama TV stations:
Monday night on PBS, more than 50 Wisconsin voters joined PBS News special correspondent Judy Woodruff for a town hall event in Milwaukee, as part of her America at a Crossroads reporting project, which has been exploring political polarization across the country. This past Monday night's event can be viewed at this time at Crossroads: A Conversation with America – A PBS News Special | PBS News.
Can or cannot Alabama TV stations be inspired to do and televise focus group conversations with Alabamians between now and Election Day?
Here's hoping.

Subject: Nevada voters who switched parties in 2020 election share thoughts on this year’s race
Dear Alabama TV stations:
I have not heard anything from you in response to my below September 25th email regarding Judy Woodruff's America at a Crossroads project exploring political polarization around the country, which email solicited Alabama TV stations to do and televise focus group conversations with Alabamians.
Last night on PBS NewsHour, Judy Woodruff added to her project a conversation with Nevada voters who had switched from Trump in 2016 to Biden in 2020. Nevada voters who switched parties in 2020 election share thoughts on this year’s race | PBS News.
I have no idea how Alabama TV stations rate the journalistic and civic values of educating voters and reducing the polarization that would be served by their viewers seeing other Alabamians talking in televised focus group conversations.
I think many Alabamians suffer from being low information voters and Alabama parties that could improve that situation are not doing what they could do.
For Alabamians to be deprived of being able to see televised focus group conversations involving Alabamians talking to one another worsens the low information situation, I think, and I will add this email to https://al6thcongdist-ihaveuntiljan13.blogspot.com/2024/10/you-stupid-stupid-people.html, as well as to https://al6thcongdist-ihaveuntiljan13.blogspot.com/2024/09/organizing-focus-groups.html
Thank you for your attention to this email.
